MICRONOR has an especially efficient
inspection department to guarantee its clients perfect and constant
product quality, as well as compliance with the specifications.
A sample undergoes different tests, from the first to the last
phase of manufacture.
Samples are taken throughout the entire manufacturing process.
A final control guarantees compliance
with the specifications and a report is drawn up to conclude the
set of tests.
A great many clients express their gratitude for our Quality Assessment
by certifying us as Quality Assessment Supplier.
The Division MICRONOR Surface Treatments (certified ISO
9001 version 2000 since May 2003) works in close co-operation with
the Division M7D to create finished pieces in accordance with client
requirements and specifications.
Expanded know-how to meet the different needs of clients concerning
the electroplating of precious metals and base metals.

The inspection department carries out the following controls meeting
the needs of our clients, throughout the manufacturing process:
1. Appearance
Visual and/or Binocular (X10 to X40) control,
Microscope analysis (X100 à X1000)
2. Thickness
Control of compliance of the plating requested with fluorescence
X and/or micrographic section with photography (upon request by the
client).
3. Adhesion
Bonding strength test with adhesive tape
Deformation test of the piece
Folding, kinking, crimping
Oven drying or thermal shock test
4. Corrosion
Test with nitrous fumes or dip soldering
Thioacetamide test
Artificial sweat test
Climatic test

Non destructive method:
Fluorescence X : measurement, single, double and three-layer analysis.
Destructive method : micrographic section with photos (reference
method).
Adhesion control : thermal shock, oven drying, grids, ripping,
crimping, folding.
Corrosion test: nitric acid or soaked and/or nitrous fumes,
monosulphide, thioacetamide, artificial sweat, tropical atmosphere
(wet heat).
